Neon Underworld ("the app", "we", "us") is an unofficial fan-made companion app for an open-world action game. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used. The app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher.

The app does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or browsing history.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

AI Assistants: When you send a message to an AI assistant, the text of that message is transmitted to our backend and to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate a reply. Messages are processed to return a response and are not used to build a profile of you or to serve ads.

News Feed: The app may request a list of recent, publicly available game news. These requests do not include personal information about you.

On-Device Storage: Preferences such as whether you have dismissed the one-time AI disclaimer are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.

Optional in-app purchases are processed by Apple and by our payments partner (RevenueCat) to validate and restore your purchase. Apple handles your payment information; we never receive or store your full payment details. RevenueCat may process a device-generated identifier to manage entitlements. The app is intended for a mature audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit. Because we do not maintain user accounts, we do not retain personal profiles. AI message content is processed transiently to generate replies.

You can avoid sending message content to the AI features simply by not using them. You can clear locally stored preferences by deleting and reinstalling the app.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
